Ammon News - The plastic arts exhibition "In Every Home There Is an Artist and We Are Waiting for a New Title" was inaugurated by Minister Wafa Bani Mustafa from the Ministry of Social Development at Jerash Visitors Center. The event was arranged by Jerash Fine Arts Association with backing from Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts.
Minister Bani Mustafa stated that the Jerash Festival initiative has had a social impact by training over 2,000 students in five years, improving their artistic spirit.
The Minister commended the work of the initiative leaders and organizers, urging for ongoing efforts in promoting activities that highlight the excellence, accomplishments, and creativity of youth.
Dr. Tariq Al-Atoum, the leader of the Jerash Fine Arts Association and overseer of the project, mentioned that the event is held to honor the success of the symposium, which was developed over five years at the Jerash Festival and resulted in 2,000 graduates.
He highlighted the creativity of students at the Jerash Festival as the standout feature of the initiative. The exhibition aims to promote sustainability and pave the way for a fine arts academy. Emphasizing the significance of introducing plastic arts culture in the governorate and showcasing students' talents, he also commended the festival's role in supporting the initiative.
Bani Mustafa checked out the exhibition with Muhammad Jalabneh from social development and Thaer Al-Ayasrah from tourism, observing artworks made by both kids and adults.
At the end of the introduction, the Minister of Development rewarded the exhibition participants with presents from the Ministry of Development and the "In Every Home is an Artist" project, and acknowledged several sponsors with commendation plaques. One participant gave a painting to the Minister, while Al-Atoum presented an award to Minister Bani Mustafa as a token of appreciation.
