According to the official, there are over 1.2 million cars in Jordan, 35,000 of it with Syrian licence plate. Around 1.3 million Syrians currently reside in the Kingdom, over half-a-million of whom are refugees who displaced to Jordan after the Syrian conflict erupted in April, 2011. Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Majed Dabbas - Interior Ministry have recently decided to ban vehicles with Syrian licence plates from moving within the Kingdom without re-entering permission, official told Ammon News on Saturday.
