Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) - The "Friends of Syria" group, which includes Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Turkey, Germany and Italy, will hold a foreign ministerial meeting in Jordan in the middle of next week, the spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry, Sabah Al-Rafei, said on Tuesday.

"This meeting will follow up on previous meetings – in Istanbul and Abu Dhabi, in particular – to discuss the unfortunate events in Syria and coordinate positions in line with events on the ground and the recent US-Russian agreement on resolving the crisis by holding an international conference, which will build on the outcome of the Geneva conference last year," Al-Rafei added.
