Lebanon, Jordan to boost media cooperation

AMMAN (Petra)--Lebanese Information Minister Walid Daouk voiced his country's willingness to boost media cooperation between Jordan and Lebanon.

In a letter to State Minister for Media Affairs and Minister of Culture Samih Maaytah, the Lebanese minister valued Jordan's support to Lebanon's just causes.

He also thanked Maaytah for Jordan's efforts to ensure the success of meetings of the Arab Information Ministers Council which was recently held in Cairo.

The Lebanese minister highlighted the need to boost historical ties between Jordan and Lebanon and enhance joint Arab action.
