In a circular, Maaytah stressed that the step is in line with the provisions of the Constitution. The candidacy period for the January 23 elections starts on December 22 and continues for three days.

AMMAN — Minister of Media Affairs and Communications, Minister of Culture and Government Spokesperson Samih Maaytah on Saturday directed media and cultural institutions not to allow the use of any of their facilities, including government vehicles, for the benefit of any candidate competing at any electoral district across the Kingdom.

In a circular, Maaytah stressed that the step is in line with the provisions of the Constitution.

The candidacy period for the January 23 elections starts on December 22 and continues for three days.
