The professional allowance will now become 100 per cent of the basic salary for all teachers. The minister added in a statement to Jordan News Agency, Petra that allocations for the allowance were taken into consideration when preparing the 2013 general budget.

Ammon News - Amman, (Petra)--Minister of Education and Scientific Research Wajih Oweis said that the Cabinet had approved during its session on February 23, 2012, a 15 percent allowance on teachers' salaries that will be disbursed as of the beginning of next year.

The professional allowance will now become 100 per cent of the basic salary for all teachers.

The minister added in a statement to Jordan News Agency, Petra that allocations for the allowance were taken into consideration when preparing the 2013 general budget.
