Ammon News - Specialized firefighting teams from the Civil Defense Directorate in East Irbid responded on Monday to a fire broke out inside a warehouse "containing spices" in the industrial area of Irbid Governorate, according to the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

The spokesperson stated that the firefighting teams managed to extinguish the fire, which covered an area of 100 square meters, and brought it completely under control.

13 people suffered from breathing difficulties due to inhaling smoke from the blaze. Ambulance teams provided first aid and transported the injured to the hospital. Their condition was reported as moderate, the source added.

An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the fire.
