Ammon News - Jordan's U-20 national football team concluded its training camp in Turkey with a goalless draw against Iraq on Monday evening at Golcuk Stadium, as part of its preparations for upcoming competitions, most notably the AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers.

Head coach Ibrahim Hilmi said the technical staff intentionally arranged a more demanding schedule than the Asian qualifiers by allowing only one rest day between matches. The aim was to expose players to the intensity and pressure of official tournaments, helping improve their technical and physical readiness.

He added that the camp delivered several key benefits, including assessing player performances, testing new faces, and implementing various tactical ideas. These factors helped the coaching staff identify the core group for the next stage, while awaiting the return of several injured players. He expressed his ambition to continue developing both individual and team performance during future camps.
