Jordan participates in Dubai World Government Summit

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan is taking part in the World Government Summit, which started early today in Dubai.

Around 3,000 participants from125 countries, including top officials, leaders and government experts are taking part in the three-day event, which will focus on education, health care, economy and other issues.

Also, U.S. President Barack Obama will address the summit on its first day with a keynote speech via closed-circuit television.

Jordan is represented by Senate President Faisal al-Fayez, Interior Minister Salamah Hammad, Justice Minister Bassam Talhouni, Greater Amman Municipality mayor Aqel Biltaji and the Director of the Jordan Tourism Board Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat.
