Home Jordan News Hot,dusty weather forecast over next two days 03-08-2015 12:44 PM Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Unstable weather conditions are expected to affect the country Monday and Tuesday; therefore it will be hot in the hilly areas and extremely hot in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba and the desert areas. According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), medium and high altitude clouds bringing dust laden winds and local showers are expected across the Kingdom, mainly in the southern and eastern parts of the country. Authorities reiterate warning against direct sun exposure during peak hours from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. People are also urged to exercise caution when driving, especially on desert roads, due to dust, slippery roads and low visibility under the prevailing weather conditions. Maximum temperatures expected in the capital and the northern regions for today will reach a high of 40 degrees Celsius, while it will reach 45 degrees in the Gulf of Aqaba .
