Court starts trial of 8 people accused of joining Hezbollah

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The State Military Court, on Monday, started trying eight people accused of joining Lebanon's Hezbollah group and plotting to carry out terrorist attacks in the Kingdom and against Jordanian interests abroad.

The suspects, seven Jordanians and a Syrian fugitive, are accused of being in possession of illegal arms, manufacturing explosives and training and recruiting people to join armed groups.

The court deferred the trial to the end of this month.
