Syrians demonstrate in Ramtha against killings in Daraa

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Hundreds of Syrian refugees marched in the streets of the Jordanian border city of Ramtha in the early hours of Saturday to protest Friday's violence, in which dozens were killed and injured in the southern Syrian city of Daraa, Petra News Agency reported.

The demonstrators headed to the Al Omari Mosque in downtown Ramtha and stayed there until 6:00 am local time.

Ramtha is hosting about 20,000 Syrian refugees, who fled their country due to a 15-month-long uprising in Syria.
