Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Anas Damra - Journalists and employees of Al Rai daily newspaper continued their protest for the fourth day in front of the newspaper headquarters on Queen Rania Al Abdullah Street in Amman, calling for administrative reforms, raising their salaries, and enhancing the press standards of the newspaper.

The fourth day of protest witnessed increased demands by the employees, who called for an overhaul of the newspaper's management and for the editorial management team to resign.

They charged that funds have been embezzled from the newspaper revenues from advertisement.

Al Rai daily is part of the Jordan Press Foundation, which also publishes The Jordan Times English language daily and the children's magazine, Hatem.
