Ammon News - AMMONNEWS — Jordan Water Company 'Miyahuna' announced on Monday that they suspended pumping water from Zai Water Treatment Plant to Amman as a precautionary measure as of Late Sunday until Tuesday morning.

The company attributed the suspension to a request from the Health Ministry which asked to collect samples of water from the plant.

In a press statement, the company said yesterday areas to be affected by the suspension are Tlaa Al Ali, Um Uthainah, parts of Al Rashid neighbourhood, Khalda, Al Rabieh, Shmeisani, Sport City and Arjan.

These areas will be compensated once the pumping is resumed, said the company in a statement yesterday.
