Ammon News - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II held a video call on Sunday with members of Jordan’s national football team ahead of their highly anticipated FIFA World Cup match against Algeria.
During the call, the Crown Prince conveyed the support of King Abdullah II for the national team, reaffirming his strong confidence in the players and their ability to shoulder responsibility and represent Jordan in the best possible way.
He praised the outstanding performance and fighting spirit displayed by the team in its opening match, stressing that the players had given Jordanians a sense of pride through their level of play, discipline, and determination.
The Crown Prince urged the players to continue their journey with the same spirit and morale, play as one team, learn from mistakes, and work to correct them.
He also highlighted the important role of the head coach and technical staff in guiding the team through the next stage of the tournament, emphasizing that all players should take pride in what they are achieving at the World Cup.
For his part, national team captain Ehsan Haddad said the players' morale is high and that everyone understands the responsibility they carry, adding that the team will give its all against Algeria in pursuit of a result that meets the aspirations of Jordanian fans and continues to represent the country in the best possible manner.
