Ammon News - One person died on Wednesday after a fire broke out inside an apartment in Amman.

The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said specialized firefighting teams from the Central Amman Civil Defense Directorate responded to a fire inside an apartment in the Shafa Badran area.

The spokesperson explained that the fire resulted in one death due to severe burns, adding that firefighting teams extinguished the blaze, while ambulance crews transferred the deceased to the nearest hospital.

The relevant authorities will launch an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
