Jordan Post issues commemorative stamps marking World Cup qualification

Ammon News - Jordan Post on Sunday announced the issuance of a commemorative stamp series titled "Jordan's Qualification for the 2026 World Cup," celebrating the national football team's historic achievement of reaching the FIFA World Cup finals for the first time.

According to a statement, the special issue commemorates a landmark moment in Jordanian sports history and serves as a lasting record of the national team's qualification for the 2026 tournament.

The issue comprises two commemorative stamps designed to document the achievement, with the complete stamp set priced at JD2.50.

Jordan Post said the first-day cover will be available for JD3, while a commemorative postcard is priced at JD1.40. A limited-edition commemorative folder will also be offered for JD20.

Collectors and members of the public may obtain the commemorative issue from the Stamp Department at Jordan Post's headquarters in Muqabaleen, adjacent to the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation building, beginning June 2.
