Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - In a previously unannounced visit, King Abdullah II on Tuesday met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Amman to discuss means of achieving progress in efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on a two-state solution, and in a comprehensive regional context that guarantees security and stability for all countries in the region, Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Netanyahu's visit to Amman lasted only a few hours, during which talks with King Abdullah II discussed means of finding suitable environment to launch direct negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Samir Rifai, Chief of the Hashemite Royal Court Nasser Louzi, Advisor to King Abdullah Ayman Safadi, Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, and Head of the Jordanian General Intelligence Department Lt. General Muhammad Raqqad, and the delegation accompanying Israel's Prime Minister.
