Ammon News - Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission summoned MP Mustafa Al-Amawi on Tuesday morning to hear his statements regarding remarks circulated by media outlets and social media, in which he alleged corruption practices committed by lawmakers with the knowledge or assistance of former governments and ministers.

A source at the commission said the questioning lasted more than three hours to verify the claims he made, noting that he could have provided the commission or relevant authorities with the information by virtue of his position as a member of parliament.

The source added that the commission gave him until Wednesday to submit the documents he referred to in his statements, which he claimed were in his possession regarding those alleged practices.
