Ammon News - British Columbia residents are trying to solve the mystery of an unidentified shape seen floating across the night sky over the province.

Sightings of the shape were reported ranging hundreds of miles across central and northern British Columbia between 10 and 11 p.m. local time on Tuesday.

Patsy Seymour, who posted a video of the unidentified object to social media, said it glowed brightly, but appeared to dim as it moved away from her location.

Experts have yet to weigh in on the identity of the shape, but some observers theorized it could be a runaway weather balloon.
