Ammon News - Yarmouk University has issued disciplinary sanctions against a group of students who violated university regulations and instructions and were involved in fights that occurred on campus recently.
In a statement released Wednesday, the university said that these disciplinary sanctions were issued by the relevant authorities following a series of legal procedures and based on the recommendations of investigation committees that concluded their work after lengthy sessions held over the past few days. The committees based their decisions on Yarmouk University's applicable regulations and instructions.
These disciplinary sanctions affected 26 students and ranged from permanent expulsion to temporary suspension for periods of one to three semesters, according to the statement.
