02-12-2025 11:13 AM

Ammon News - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II inaugurated on Monday the 42 Irbid campus, a Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) initiative that offers training in computer science and programming.

42 Irbid aims to develop the next generation of programmers and hone their skills through collaborative, peer-to-peer, project-based learning without the need for teachers or lectures.

During his visit to the campus in Irbid, the Crown Prince met with students enrolled in the 42 Amman and Irbid programmes who also participated in the ‘One Company. One Problem. One Day.’ innovation challenge, which aims to empower students to deal with real-world problems faced by the private sector, and find practical solutions to them.

The 42 programme targets people aged 18 to 60 across the Kingdom. Registration does not require any certification or academic requirements, and the educational programme is based on a gamified curriculum.

The 42 Irbid campus is part of the Ecole 42 global network, whose graduates have achieved a high rate of employment at technology companies around the world.

Last year, His Royal Highness inaugurated the headquarters of 42 Amman, which provides free training services that aim to empower young people and prepare them for the job market.

The Crown Prince was accompanied by Chairman of the CPF’s College of Advanced Vocational Training Omar Al Maani, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain.
