Ammon News - The Anti-Smuggling Department seized an estimated 1,000 kilograms of molasses inside an unlicensed factory, using sawdust unfit for human consumption, including sawdust, and under extremely poor sanitary conditions.
Jordan Customs explained that the inspection revealed that the seized molasses did not meet health and regulatory requirements and bore counterfeit trademarks, posing a direct threat to public health.
Customs affirmed that this seizure is part of its ongoing efforts to combat smuggling and commercial fraud, and its commitment to protecting consumers from harmful substances.
