Drone falls in Abu Nseir causing damage, no injuries reported

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced that several reports were received on Thursday morning regarding the fall of unidentified objects in various governorates across the Kingdom. All incidents were addressed accordingly.

The Directorate added that one such report was from the Abu Nseir area, where security forces were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, it was confirmed that a drone had crashed near a group of commercial shops, resulting in damage to a vehicle and a bus stop shelter. No injuries were reported.

Relevant security and military authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

The Public Security Directorate reiterated its warning to the public to avoid approaching any unfamiliar or suspicious objects, as they may pose significant danger. Citizens are urged to report such sightings immediately via the unified emergency number 911, allowing specialized units to respond appropriately and investigate.

 

Eyewitnesses in the Abu Nuseir area in Amman reported on Thursday morning that fragments of flying objects fell, directly damaging a vehicle, but no human injuries were reported.

The witnesses said they heard a faint boom before the fragments fell.

Earlier on Thursday morning, air raid sirens sounded in the capital, Amman, coinciding with new missile strikes launched by Iran against the Israeli occupation.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said called on citizens to remain in their homes, stay away from windows and open areas, and follow the instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
