64 Syrian families voluntarily return to their country

Ammon News - The first voluntary return convoys of Syrian refugees from the Emirati-Jordanian camp for Syrian refugees in Mrajeeb Al Fhood, Azraq district, east of Amman, to Syria began on Sunday, as part of a humanitarian initiative launched by Farah Waqf , in coordination with official Jordanian authorities.

The convoy, comprising 64 Syrian families totaling over 350 individuals, departed from the camp headed to Daraa Governorate, specifically the city of Al-Sanamayn and its countryside.

This is the 14th convoy under the displaced persons return program, and the first to depart from Jordan.

The convoy included seven buses and more than 16 trucks loaded with furniture and personal items for the returnees, reflecting the extent of logistical support provided to ensure their safe and dignified return.
