Ammon News - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, on Thursday met with British Ambassador to Jordan, Philip Hall, at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.

The meeting addressed avenues to bolster bilateral cooperation, particularly in the military and defense fields, and reviewed developments at the regional and international levels. Discussions also touched on ways to enhance collaboration in areas that serve the strategic interests of both nations.

Major General Huneiti highlighted the importance of strengthening joint military training and coordination, stressing that such efforts are vital to reinforcing the strategic partnership and enhancing the two countries’ ability to confront regional and global challenges.

Hall praised Jordan’s pivotal role in promoting regional security and stability and commended the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to support peace initiatives throughout the region.
