Ammon News - Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez met on Thursday with Khadija Hajoubi, Deputy Chair of the Social Committee in the Arab Parliament and member of the Moroccan House of Representatives, to discuss enhancing parliamentary collaboration and cultural ties between Jordan and Morocco.

The meeting, held in Amman and attended by Senator Ihsan Barakat, the Senate’s representative to the Arab Parliament, focused on the close bilateral relations between Jordan and Morocco, described by Al-Fayez as founded on mutual respect and a shared vision to advance the interests of both nations.

Al-Fayez emphasized the need to strengthen the role of Arab parliamentary institutions in addressing regional challenges and promoting collective Arab interests.

He also called for greater coordination among Arab legislative bodies to support political and development agendas that serve the broader Arab region.

For her part, Hajoubi highlighted Morocco’s commitment to deepening ties with Jordan’s Senate through continued engagement in the Arab Parliament and bilateral parliamentary initiatives. She praised the level of cooperation between the two countries and expressed her country’s readiness to explore new opportunities for joint action.

Hajoubi proposed organizing a joint Jordanian-Moroccan exhibition in Amman showcasing traditional and artisanal products from both countries. The initiative, she said, would serve as a platform to reinforce cultural connections and promote heritage industries. Petra
