Jordanian field hospital/6 in southern Gaza begins operations

Ammon News - The Jordanian Field Hospital in southern Gaza 6 commenced operations on Monday, providing medical, therapeutic, and humanitarian services to patients and visitors amid the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip.

The hospital’s commander stated that the facility reflects the directives and humanitarian vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, who remains steadfast in his support for the people of Gaza during the war. He noted that the hospital began receiving patients with various medical conditions early Monday morning.

The hospital director highlighted that the medical and nursing teams, along with supporting health professionals, are actively receiving and following up on patients’ cases. He pointed out that the hospital is equipped with a wide range of specialized clinics, including general surgery, vascular surgery, neurology, plastic surgery and burns, orthopedics, pediatrics, maxillofacial surgery, internal medicine, gynecology, neonatal care, anesthesia and resuscitation. The hospital also includes the mobile amputee support unit "Restoring Hope."

Patients and their families expressed deep appreciation for His Majesty King Abdullah II’s principled stance in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause, voicing their pride in the Jordan Armed Forces and the continued delivery of vital medical and humanitarian services. Petra
