Ammon News - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Sunday welcomed the announcement by the Sultanate of Oman of the consensus reached by the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran during the second round of talks held in the Italian capital, Rome, which led to an agreement by both sides to move to the next phase of negotiations.

The Ministry's official spokesperson, Dr. Sufyan Qudah, affirmed the Kingdom's support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting dialogue and resolving conflicts through peaceful means, which will enhance regional and international security and peace.

Qudah commended the Italian-Omani efforts in hosting the talks between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
