Ammon News - Israeli airstrikes have killed 41 Palestinians since dawn on Thursday in the cities of Khan Younis and Gaza.
In the past hours, Israeli forces have intensified their aerial and artillery bombardment across the Gaza Strip, particularly in Rafah, targeting residential apartments. These attacks have resulted in massacres, claiming the lives of mostly children and women, alongside ongoing assaults on Palestinian families and displaced persons.
The Israeli army issued a warning to residents of Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and the neighborhoods of Tel Al-Za’atar, Al-Noor, Al-Rawdah, Al-Salam, Al-Nahda, Al-Tuffah, Al-Zohour, Sheikh Zayed, Al-Manshiyah, and Jabalia refugee camp, stating that these areas would be bombed and urging them to leave their homes.
Simultaneously, Israeli tanks launched heavy artillery shelling and gunfire at Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah in southern Gaza.
Israeli warplanes carried out at least two airstrikes east of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, alongside gunfire from Israeli naval vessels targeting the Khan Younis coastline.
Airstrikes also hit the southwestern area of Khan Younis and multiple locations in Rafah.
Local residents reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the vicinity of Anas Bin Malik Mosque in Wadi Al-Arais, east of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.
Another airstrike hit Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire on eastern areas of Gaza City.
On Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced an expansion of military operations in Rafah, stating plans to seize large areas of Gaza and integrate them into Israeli security zones.
Since Israel resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, over 1,042 Palestinians have been martyred and 2,542 wounded—most of them children and women—according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
With U.S. support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving over 164,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, the majority of them children and women, in addition to more than 11,000 missing persons.
