Ammon News - Spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yanal Barmawi, confirmed Saturday, that chicken prices have dropped in markets and poultry farms.

In a statement to Ammon, Barmawi said that the ministry monitored prices for three days, and it was found that prices witnessed a clear decrease, whether for plucked chicken or fresh chicken sold in markets.

The price of most types of plucked chicken decreased to JD1.75 and recorded prices less than that, while most prices of fresh chicken reached about JD2, and recorded prices of offers less than that, he added.
