Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) called on citizens on Monday to stay away from valleys and torrents, including the Dead Sea area, during the low pressure system currently affecting the Kingdom.
It also warned of low visibility due to fog formation over plains and highlands, and to be aware of waves of dense dust that lead to low horizontal visibility, especially on desert roads, in addition to the stability of flying objects due to the winds.
The directorate called on citizens not to risk crossing roads in the event of high water levels, and to take the utmost caution, adhere to traffic rules, and avoid speeding.
Also, it noted the need to perform the necessary maintenance on heating devices and use them in a safe manner; to preserve lives.
