Hebrew media reports Lebanon ceasefire

Ammon News - The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation released a preliminary ceasefire proposal for Lebanon, as there are hopes for an imminent agreement on the Lebanese front and a potential announcement by the US administration ahead of the elections.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the ceasefire proposal requires Israel and Lebanon to adhere to Resolutions 1701 and 1559.

The Lebanese army affirmed its dedication to overseeing the enforcement of Resolution 1701, with the complete execution of the ceasefire set to occur over a 60-day truce period.

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation stated Israel's commitment to remove its troops from Lebanon within 7 days of the ceasefire's commencement.

It was pointed out that the Lebanese army will start deploying at the same time as the withdrawal of Israeli forces.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the proposed ceasefire includes an additional letter between the United States and Israel affirming Israel's right to defend itself against any immediate dangers.
