Ammon News - Under royal directives, the twelfth humanitarian aid plane departed today, Wednesday, on board a Royal Air Force C130 aircraft to the sisterly Republic of Lebanon, following the ongoing events there.
The aircraft, dispatched by the Jordanian Armed Forces in collaboration with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, transports food, relief supplies, medications, and medical supplies.
Jordanian assistance is directed towards helping certain industries in Lebanon cope with the challenging conditions caused by a lack of resources, in line with its obligations both as a humanitarian and national duty.
Jordanian citizens will be flown back to their country with the help of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs.
Sending the airplane is part of the efforts made by the Kingdom to bring back Jordanian citizens safely and provide the needed assistance for their return home. Additional aircraft will be dispatched as required by the situation.
