Ammon News - Dr. Mohammad Al-Khalayleh, Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, criticized the increase in Israeli offenses against the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif, where the occupying authority allowed occupation police and groups of Jewish extremists to desecrate the sanctity of the mosque in a significant and unprecedented way in recent days.
The Minister cautioned the authorities occupying the area about the outcomes of obstructing Muslim worshipers and denying them the right to enter and pray in the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque. Meanwhile, the authorities are overlooking the transgressions of Jewish extremists, who are using force and militarizing both the interior and exterior of the mosque to achieve their goal of making it a Jewish holy site. This puts the mosque at risk of facing a critical point in its historical and legal status.
The Minister emphasized that Muslims have a religious, historical, and legal entitlement to the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif, which is under the protection and care of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein. It is exclusively for Muslims and does not allow for splitting or sharing.
The Minister urged Arab and Islamic countries to act and pressure the Israeli occupation to halt its attempts to control the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque, cautioning against further Judaization of the holy sites and surrounding areas, which could worsen the situation.
