Moderate weather in highlands and plains, hot in other regions

Ammon News - The weather across Jordan on Wednesday is expected to be moderately warm in the highlands and plains, while other areas, including the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, will experience higher temperatures. According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, scattered clouds at medium altitudes will also be present throughout the day, with northwesterly winds blowing at a moderate speed.

The department forecasts a slight rise in temperatures for Thursday, with relatively hot conditions in the highlands and plains and more intense heat in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Similar to today, there will be some cloud cover at medium altitudes, and the northwesterly winds will maintain moderate speeds, occasionally becoming more active.

By Friday, temperatures will see a minor decline. The weather is expected to remain moderate in the highlands and plains, while conditions in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will stay hot. Clouds are predicted to form at lower altitudes, with northwesterly winds continuing to blow at a moderate pace, picking up at times.

Another slight dip in temperatures is projected for Saturday. The highlands and plains will experience mild summer conditions, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will continue to face hot weather. Cloud cover is expected to remain at lower altitudes, and northwesterly winds will persist at moderate speeds.

The report details temperature ranges across various regions for today. In East Amman, temperatures will vary between a high of 33 C and a low of 22 C, while West Amman will see temperatures between 31 C and 20 C. In the northern highlands, temperatures are forecast to range from 30 C to 19 C, and the Sharah highlands will experience a range of 29 C to 18 C.

The Dead Sea area is expected to reach a high of 40 C and a low of 27 C, while Aqaba is forecasted to see temperatures between 41 C during the day and 28 C at night. Petra
