Ammon News - Ministers of Investment Kholoud Saqqaf, Tourism and Antiquities Makram Qaisi, and Environment Muawiya Radaydeh conducted a field tour of various tourist and natural sites in Ajloun Governorate to review ongoing developments and plans aimed at attracting tourism development projects to the region.
During their visit to the cable car and castle project, the ministerial team was briefed by Sakher Ajlouni, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group, on key services and initiatives undertaken to enhance the project.
Ajlouni pointed out that a joint team from the Ministry of Tourism, Development Zones, and Ajloun Municipality has been established to explore the feasibility of linking the castle with the cable car.
In a visit to the Ajloun Forest Reserve, Fadi Nasser, Director General of the Royal Scientific Society for the Conservation of Nature, and Bashir Ayasrah, Director of the Reserve, highlighted the society's specialized academic expertise in training and capacity building in the fields of nature conservation and reserve management.
The ministers also toured several facilities within the reserve, including huts and a nature shop that features handicrafts and natural products made by local residents using resources from the Ajloun Forest Reserve and its surroundings.
