Ammon News - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) continues to receive donations from all over the world as part of the "For Our People in Gaza" campaign, which was launched in October 2023.

The campaign aims to support the People in the Gaza Strip via land convoys, relief aircraft and airdrops, which are being implemented in cooperation with the the Jordanian Armed Forces/Arab Army and the Royal Jordanian Air Force.

The number of planes sent to the people in Gaza since October has reached 53 planes via El-Arish to Rafah, and the number of trucks sent via land crossings has reached 2,857 trucks, where the aid included medical supplies, food parcels, relief supplies, medicines, blood units, canned meat, and flour.

Through the partnership between the JHCO and Life Organization through the agreement signed between the two parties, 6 trucks carrying flour were sent and distributed to the people in the Gaza Strip.

Hussein Shibli, Secretary-General of the JHCO, said that the partnership between the JHCO and Life Organization is one of the fruitful partnerships through which the people of the Gaza Strip were provided with the basic commodity flour.

Jordan has become a point of receiving donations from various countries and organizations working in the humanitarian sector, and that the land and air bridge that extended from Jordan to the Gaza Strip is the lifeline for the people of Gaza, Shibli added.
