Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi said that Israel is not fulfilling any of its obligations to implement the agreements it has concluded, including the Oslo Accords, which would have led to the establishment of a Palestinian state and could have achieved security and peace for Israel.
During his participation on Monday in a dialogue session entitled "The Road to Peace: Implementing the Two-State Solution" within the activities of the second edition of the symposium "Spain in the World: The International System and Geopolitical Changes", which is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Spanish Cooperation, Safadi added that the conflict has become worse than it was due to Israel's failure to abide by the agreements signed with it.
Safadi pointed out that we are facing today a terrible moment in the history of the region, Israel is continuing with an aggression, which has so far killed nearly 40,000 people and taken thousands captive in the occupied West Bank, explaining that Israel follows an ideology through which it simply wants to cancel out the Palestinian people and deprive them of their rights.
Regarding humanitarian aid, Jordan is able to increase the number of aid trucks to the Gaza Strip to 500 per day if Israel allows the entry of aid, Safadi confirmed, indicating that the numbers of aid being brought into Gaza do not meet the minimum requirements of the needs of the Palestinian people.
