Petroleum derivatives sales decline by 5% in H1 of 2024

Ammon News - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources reported that sales of petroleum derivatives in the first half of 2024 totaled 1,747.5 million liters, down from 1,836.04 million liters in the same period last year, marking a 5% decrease.

The figures revealed specific changes in sales volumes: gasoline (90) decreased from 826.7 million liters to 769.9 million liters, a decline of 7%; gasoline (95) increased from 69.8 million liters to 70.8 million liters, representing a 2% rise; diesel sales decreased from 869.4 million liters to 846.0 million liters, a decrease of 3%; and kerosene sales declined from 70.2 million liters to 60.7 million liters, indicating a 13% decrease.
