Ammon News - The value of remittances from Jordanian workers in Qatar amounted to about $250 million (JD177.2 million) during the first half of this year.

According to officials in money transfer companies in the Qatari market, these remittances recorded an increase of 6.8%, compared to about $233 million (JD165.1 million) during the corresponding period of the year 2023.

In statements to "Petra" on Saturday, the officials said remittances from Jordanian workers in Qatar have recorded "continuous" growth since the beginning of this year, which has extended over the past few years.
