Ammon News - ZARQA The Second International Conference entitled "Education in a Changing World" opened at the Hashemite University in Zarqa on Wednesday.

In opening remarks, Head of the Senate's Education Committee Senator Adnan Badran said that the Hashemite leadership gave special attention and priority to education to achieve modernization and development.

Jordan, he added, had achieved advanced position in science and math education among Arab and world countries, pointing to the important role of communication and information technology in creating a better educational world.

President of the Hashemite University Suleiman Arabiyat said Jordan had moved towards investing information and communications technology, mainly in the education field.

The two-day conference, attended by education experts from Arab and foreign countries, will discuss a number of working papers on change, globalization and IT revolution in the education field.
