Hotel occupancy rates reach 80% in Aqaba

Ammon News - Hamza Al-Hajj Hassan, Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), confirmed that the tourism movement in the city of Aqaba is active according to the hotel occupancy rate and the number of visitors during Eid al-Adha, which reflected positively on the tourism and commercial movement in the tourist city.

In a press statement on Thursday, Al-Hajj Hassan, said that the occupanct rate of hotels in Aqaba reached 80%.

About 14,000 visitors entered through the Durra and Wadi Araba border crossings, he added.
