Ammon News - The Jordanian Private Field Hospital/2 in the southern Gaza Strip has received more than 96,000 cases, since November 2023, in addition to performing humanitarian roles in service to the people of the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023.

The field hospital's commander told Al-Mamlaka TV on Monday that the hospital's medical teams are fine, and are continuing to provide humanitarian and medical roles.

The hospital distributed aid to people in southern Gaza, in addition to conducting a blood donation campaign, he added.

The commander stated that the hospital has been working around the clock since its stay in southern Gaza, as the total number of cases that the hospital has dealt with since the end of November 2023 until now has reached 96,865 cases.

He pointed out that the hospital performed 848 major operations, including 14,585 minor operations, which were among the cases that were reviewed by the hospital.

The hospital is witnessing a remarkable demand, because it is considered a medical incubator for the sector, he said, noting that the hospital receives 1,000-1,500 cases daily.

The Jordanian Field Hospital/2 is the first field hospital to enter the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 7.
