PSD, Youth Ministry launch National Program for Security, Youth 2024

Ammon News - The National Program for Security and Youth 2024 was inaugurated on Tuesday at Al Hussein Youth City by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) and the Ministry of Youth.

This initiative marks a continued collaboration between the two entities, underscoring their commitment to fortifying youth and amplifying their societal contributions.

In its second consecutive year, the program builds upon its inaugural success, witnessed by a number senior officials from the two sides.

Structured around five core pillars: awareness-raising security, cultural and sports, environmental and tourism, volunteer work, and media, the program is orchestrated by the Mass Media and Community Policing Directorate in tandem with other PSD's units.

The Ministry of Youth, through its youth centers, facilitates youth engagement and participation in the program activities.

Hussein Al-Jabour, Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth, commended the PSD for its steadfast efforts in bolstering community security and fostering collaboration with national institutions to guide and harness the potential of youth in this sphere.

Brigadier General Anwar Tarawneh, the Assistant Director of Public Security for Operations and Training, emphasized the Directorate's commitment to working hand in hand with the Ministry of Youth. Their joint endeavor aims to cultivate a confident generation of Jordanian youth, grounded in national values and poised to serve the nation.

The program encompasses a diverse array of awareness-raising and educational initiatives, spanning lectures, theatrical performances, sporting events, volunteer work, and other constructive endeavors. Petra
