09-04-2010 05:28 PM

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – In celebration of Mother’s Day and as part of its contribution to the Madrasati Initiative, Jordan Dubai Properties (JD Properties) – the investment arm of Jordan Dubai Capital (JD Capital) in Jordan's real estate and tourism sectors – visited Al Deseh School in Jerash and distributed gifts amongst the school’s students and teachers through Munya which is currently managing the Dibeen Tourism Project as part of JD Properties’ interest in sharing the joys of special occasions with fellow members of the community.

Al Deseh School is one of the five schools that JD Properties adopted through its support of the Madrasati Initiative, which include the Amenah Bint Wahab School in Sakeb, Al Majdal School in Majdal, Borma Secondary School in Borma, and Al Jazaza Primary School in Jazaza.

Commenting on this step, Mr. Nidal Khawaja, General Manager of Dibbeen Tourism Project, stated: “We are very proud to be among the national institutions participating in the royal Madrasati Initiative. Our aim through our celebration of Mother’s Day with the Al Deseh School was to convey our sincere interest in engaging and communicating with our community during different occasions. Our interests stem from our dedication to fulfilling our corporate responsibility towards our community, and we hope that our efforts will enable us to positively and effectively impact the local community and support social development.”

With regards to the company’s support of Al Deseh School, Mr. Khawaja added: “We have completed the infrastructure restoration phase at Al Deseh School, and are currently implementing a number of tourism activities and programs as well as providing English language courses to students in order to give them additional opportunities to interact with each other through extracurricular activities that add value to their schooling experience and help them hone their skills.”

Al Deseh School is located within the vicinity of the Dibbeen Tourism Project that is being implemented by Munya Specialized Resorts a subsidiary of JD Properties, which is the first world-class, eco-friendly tourism project of its scope in the north of the Kingdom. JD Properties’ cooperation with the Madrasati Initiative corresponds with the partnerships that JD Properties has forged with a number of local, community-oriented institutions with developmental directions, such as Jordan River Foundation, that aim to benefit the Jordanian people and opportunities that enable them to build a better future.
