Only 4 Arab countries start fasting on Tuesday. Get to know them

Ammon News - 17 Arab countries announced that Monday is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, while 4 countries, including Jordan, announced Tuesday as the first day of the holy month.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, and Yemen confirmed the sighting of the crescent of Ramadan and the beginning of the month, Monday, while Egypt, Lebanon, and Palestine determined, according to the fatwa data of each country, Monday.

Sudan, Iraq, Syria, Algeria, Tunisia, Djibouti, Mauritania and Somalia also announced also that Monday, is the first day of Ramadan.

For their part, Jordan, Morocco, Libya and Oman announced that Tuesday, is the first day of the holy month. Because the crescent cannot be seen.
