This came under directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to the government to provide support to the JFA, in light of the unprecedented historical achievement of Al-Nashama team in reaching the Asian Cup finals, and to provide whatever reasons possible to sustain this achievement and build on it. During a Cabinet session, the Prime Minister saluted the national football team for their historic achievement of reaching the Asian Cup final.

Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh announced on Thursday, the provision of support worth JD1,000,000 to the Jordanian Football Association (JFA).

This came under directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to the government to provide support to the JFA, in light of the unprecedented historical achievement of Al-Nashama team in reaching the Asian Cup finals, and to provide whatever reasons possible to sustain this achievement and build on it.

During a Cabinet session, the Prime Minister saluted the national football team for their historic achievement of reaching the Asian Cup final.
