Ammon News - Areas of the capital, Amman, and some of the northern and southern highlands witnessed on Saturday morning the formation of dense fog, which led to a decrease in horizontal visibility in some areas.

Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warned in its report of the risk of torrential rains in the morning hours and rising water levels in valleys and low-lying areas, including the Dead Sea area, and of the risk of low horizontal visibility and its absence at times, especially over mountain highlands due to fog and low clouds touching the surface of the earth.

The Kingdom will remain under influence of a cold, humid air mass and rain is forecast to fall in Jordan's northern and central regions and southwestern areas.
