Pleasant weather forecast Monday, rain showers on Tuesday

Ammon News - Monday’s weather is anticipated to be pleasant across the majority of regions, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will bask in warm conditions.

Various clouds will dot the sky at different altitudes, accompanied by moderate southwesterly winds that may intermittently increase in strength.

As per the latest bulletin from the Jordan Meteorological Department, Tuesday will witness the influence of a cold and humid air mass associated with a depression centered along the coast of Lebanon. Consequently, temperatures will significantly decrease. The Kingdom should prepare for a cold atmosphere and partially cloudy to cloudy conditions.

Rainfall is predicted in the northern and central regions, along with limited parts in the southwestern areas. Moderate westerly winds will prevail, occasionally gaining strength.

Looking for Wednesday, the weather is set to persist with cold temperatures, cloudy skies, and rainfall in the northern, central, and southwestern parts of the country. Moderate winds will prevail, picking up at times.

As the evening progresses, the likelihood of rain will diminish, leading to a gradual dispersal of clouds and a decrease in wind speed. Clouds will give way to fog formation over the mountainous highlands during the night hours.

The weather forecast for Thursday indicated foggy and chilly conditions, with clouds forming at lower altitudes. Cloud cover is predicted to gradually increase throughout the night, transitioning the weather from partially cloudy to mostly cloudy.

There is a possibility of rain showers occurring in late-night hours in certain parts of the northern and central regions. Moderate westerly winds, occasionally becoming active, will persist during the day.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 5C at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have moderate weather, with highs of 26C and lows of 13C. Petra
